The next year’s resort collection shines in countless textures and colors. Some of the collections are highly inspiring, some are boring as hell. Those are my personal faves from the Resort 2020:

Oscar de la Renta Resort 2020

Carolina Herrera Resort 2020

A Resort collection (also the cruise collection) is called a ready-to-wear inter-season collection that meant to be designed for the jet-setters and their “vacation” wardrobe.

This year’s Cruise collections are all about flattering, oh-so-instagrammable dresses and patterns, patterns, patterns.

Stella McCartney Resosrt 2020

Brock Collection Resort 2020

Marchesa Resort 2020

If you know me, you know how much passion I share for Marchesa. This collection is not an exception!

Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini Resort 2020

Staud Resort 2020

The Chanel Resort Collection presented by the Virginie Viard (who is she actually??) was nothing else than boring. I’ve liked the top-bows, but everything else was just “I’ve seen this somewhere”-feeling.

I only hope the next season will be better.

I’ve googled her name and here is what the Wikipedia says:

“Virginie Viard began her career as assistant to costume designer Dominique Borg. In 1987, she joined Chanel where she took care of embroidery. Thereafter, she follows Karl Lagerfeld at Chloe before returning to Chanel where she will become director of the fashion design studio.[2] She is appointed artistic director of Chanel fashion house in Paris from 2019, following the death of Karl Lagerfeld.”
